Traveling is officially one of my hobbies, and among my favorite things to do. An amazing trip ignited this new-found love. One of the most fundamental aspects of traveling that needs to be sorted is accommodation. Let me tell you about a little slice of heaven, tucked in the outskirts of Diani. I present Vszameitat Homes, Kongo River to you.

Vszameitat Homes is an apartment complex with several 2-bedroom apartment units. Each apartment has two bedrooms. One has two small beds, and the other (the master bedroom) has a large bed and en-suite bathroom. Each apartment complex has two bathrooms (including the en-suite one in the master bedroom), and an open-plan kitchen with an island, linked to the sitting room area.

The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances such as a fridge, a cooker with an oven, a microwave, a toaster, and a coffee maker. And an electric kettle. There are also sufficient cutlery and crockery, like sufurias, pans, plates, cups, mugs, spoons, forks, etc. Everything you need in a kitchen.

There is also a smart TV and wifi router for each apartment. There is also enough furniture, such as couches to sit by the television, kitchen island stools, and a dining table and chairs.

The Bathroom has a spacious shower with hot running water, and the sink has a mirror with surrounding light so that you can take killer bathroom selfies.

Proceeding to the outdoor area, there’s an outdoor pool, in which you can swim to your heart’s content, from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. The water is also not as cold.

The surrounding environment is beautiful, organized, clean and well-maintained. It truly is a paradise. Just look at these stunning photos!

The place is an air BnB meaning breakfast is usually provided by the kind staff, for every day you’re there. They offer a wide array of breakfast items such as mandazi, boiled or fried eggs, viazi karai, maharagwe ya mnazi, toasted bread, sausages, etc. You will be well-fed, I promise.

The staff will also clean your room, bringing a fresh set of bed sheets and towels, at least every two days.

What you will need to cater for yourself.

  • Electricity. You will need to purchase electricity tokens during your stay.
  • Food and other essential utilities shopping.
  • Lunch and Dinner. The only meals the staff provides are breakfast, afternoon tea, snacks, and fruits. You may cook for yourself, call someone to cook, or eat elsewhere.
  • The Air BnB can also organize for you different tours and activities. These include a visit to Wasini Island to see Dolphins, Robinson Island for a ride on the glass bottom boat and snorkeling, and even a canoe ride at Kongo River to watch the sunset.

Accommodation Cost;

At the moment, these are the current rates for a night’s stay at this paradise is Ksh.8500 per night for four guests.

If you are two guests, it’s Ksh.7k per night, breakfast included.

The rates go up in from December 16th to January 5th during the festive season, whereby it will cost Ksh.20k per night for 4 guests & Ksh. 13900 for a night for two guests inclusive of breakfast.

Overall, this is one of the best places I have ever stayed at, and would highly recommend it to anybody looking for a nice place to stay while at Diani.

It is also a walking distance from the beach and a short tuk-tuk ride to the shopping center, so it’s not only comfortable but also convenient.

If you’d like to book your stay at this paradise, email [email protected] or call/WhatsApp 0720531293/0722110680.

I promise you won’t regret it! Have a blissful stay!

Till next post,

xoxo

Miss Kambe.
