We’re already in February! Since it’s still the early days, I thought it helpful to share some of my five favorite products that you can add to your self-care regimen, that I got to use and love in February. Hope you enjoy!

1. Nice & Lovely Sunflower Oil & Lemon Extract Lotion

First on my list of February 2025 product favorites are the Nice & Lovely Sunflower oil & Lemon extract lotion, which I mentioned in my previous post on the ‘10 Amazing Beauty Products to start your 2025 right’. I looove this lotion. It has a fresh & citrusy scent and also moisturizes the skin, leaving it soft and glowing. If you prefer fresh scents or would like to try fresh scents, this one is a great option. I have also been seeing billboards of this lotion around the city, and yes, please believe the hype. The smallest bottle goes for Ksh. 175 from Naivas or Carrefour.

2. Nimo Naturals Sunscreen

Sunscreen is one of the most important products to have in your daytime skincare routine. Sunscreen protects your skin from UVA/UVB rays from the sun, thus preventing hyperpigmentation, slowing down aging, and even preventing skin cancer. Also, sunscreen ensures that the rest of your skincare products effectively work. The Nimo Naturals Sunscreen is one of my February 2025 product favorites because it’s lightweight, non-comedogenic thus doesn’t clog pores, and doesn’t leave a white cast. Also, I love the design of the bottle because it makes application very easy and convenient. The 50ml bottle goes for Ksh.1800.

3. Vaseline Cocoa Butter Lip Therapy Lip Balm

Next on my list of February 2025 product favorites is the Vaseline cocoa butter lip therapy lip balm. Don’t let the little can fool you, this lip balm is so moisturizing. A little also goes a long way, in that if you apply it early in the day, the moisturization can last well into noon. This ensures that it lasts long and becomes a trusty companion to carry with you as you go out and about. This line of product has four varieties, Original, Aloe Vera, Rosy Lips & Cocoa Butter. I’ve only tried the cocoa butter but I believe the rest of the varieties are just as amazing. A can goes for about Ksh. 450.

4. Beauty UK Eyebrow Pencil

The next product among my February 2025 product favorites is the Beauty UK eyebrow pencil. The only makeup I am familiar with applying is eye makeup, like eye shadow, eyeliner, and mascara. However, I have been adding more products to my list, including this eyebrow pencil. Not to brag, but I am also kinda bragging, I’ve been blessed to have well-shaped and full eyebrows without doing much all my life. Lately,  I have been shaping them using tweezers and a razor, as well as using the eyebrow pencil. Neat eyebrows give you a clean and polished look. I bought mine from the Super Cosmetics shop along Mama Ngina Street. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the price, but the color is dark brown. PS. DO NOT use black eyebrow pencil on your eyebrows!

5. Cussons Baby Oil

Lastly on my February 2025 product favorites, is the Cussons Baby Oil. I use baby oil daily during my morning body care routine after applying my lotion. Baby oil seals the moisture from the lotion and will leave your skin soft and glowing. Also, the Cussons Baby oil has almond and rose oil that’s nourishing, moisturizing, aromatic, and calming. It also has a lovely scent. The 200ml bottle goes for Ksh. 400.

I hope you’ll consider adding one, two, or all of these products, and hope that they’ll form part of the list of your favorite products!

Till the next post!
