As we still ease into 2025, January proving to be the longest month ever! We might as well ease into the year with amazing and affordable beauty and hygiene products. I am sharing four incredible products that ended within the last quarter of 2024 and I would buy again. I hope this inspires you to try them out and possibly be part of your beauty/hygiene routine.
Zoe Vintage Crystal Lace Hand & Body Lotion
The Zoe Vintage Crystal Lace Hand & Body lotion contains Shea Butter and Vitamin E. It offers your skin 48 hours of protection and intense moisture, and it aids in alleviating dry skin. I appreciate this lotion because it smells sweet—literally like candy—and quite luxurious. The scent also lasts for a decent time. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it to anyone who loves sweet scents. The 400ml bottle, as pictured, costs Ksh.270.
- Nimo Naturals Hyaluronic Acid Facial Cream
Words are not sufficient to express how much I love this moisturizer! With ingredients such as hyaluronic acid that ensures peak moisture for your skin, vitamin E oil and glycerine help to moisturize your skin even more, and protect your skin barrier. I have already bought my next jar and has its firm place in my daily skincare routine, for both day and night. I also love this product because it’s unscented and, therefore amazing if you have sensitive skin. A jar goes for Ksh.1000. However, Nimo Naturals offers discounts during certain times within the year, so give them a follow on the socials so that you can keep an eye out for them when they do.
- Garnier Mineral antiperspirant
No shade to Nivea deodorants, but I am not willing to spend over Ksh.600 for a little bottle of deodorant. I’d rather walk slowly so that I don’t sweat hehe. That’s why the Garnier Mineral antiperspirant has come to the rescue. This is my go-to because it is not only affordable but also offers protection for your skin and clothes as they don’t get sweat stains or those annoying white deodorant stains. Plus, it does the job of an antiperspirant excellently, you will not smell like sweat. Of course, I already got another bottle, this is my current go-to daily antiperspirant. A bottle retails at about Ksh.280-300.
- Al Rehab Soft Perfume
If you are looking for a sweet and floral scent that leaves you smelling like a sweet, delicious lemon dessert, then the Al Rehab soft would be your go-to. At the first spritz of this perfume, the scent is pretty strong but no worries, once it settles it smells sweet, floral, and quite literally, soft. This fragrance is feminine and sweet, so if you’re currently in your soft girl era, please go for it. To make things even better, this is one of the most affordable perfumes there is out there. A bottle is Ksh.500 only and lasts for months. For example, this bottle lasted for about ten months. Remember, for this perfume, a little goes a long way since it’s pretty strong, so just spritz it on your pulse points as I talked about in tip #12 in my 15 life-changing hygiene and beauty tips for 2025 blog post.
